Rochelle Berenyi
Rochelle joined the Carmichael Family in August 2017 as our Communications, Advocacy, and Projects Officer, transitioning to Director of Development in March 2020. Rochelle wears many hats at Carmichael, and is responsible for things like fundraising, presentations, and more.

Shawna Semaganis
Shawna has moved from service user at Carmichael Outreach to volunteer, to part-time instructor for our Aboriginal Art Program, to Programs and Operations, Office Manager and finally to her current position as Food Recovery Program Coordinator. She has been working with Carmichael Outreach since 2012.

Duncan Nord
Duncan has gone from volunteer, to operations assistant, to his current role as Operations Coordinator. Duncan succeeds in running a tight ship around Carmichael! He is responsible for coordinating volunteers, as well as day to day operations of the centre.

Ishema worked with Carmichael as a summer employee. We’re excited for him to be back with us ensuring our books look good and that all of our generous donations are properly processed!

Velma Peyachew
Velma is our Food Security and Programs Assistant. She has volunteered and worked at Carmichael for the past year.
“I moved to Regina a year ago and started volunteering at Carmichael helping do the dishes and run the clothing boutique. I love it here. The people and staff are great and we learn from each other. It’s nice to have a place where people can get the things that they need.”
