URGENT UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

March 16, 2020 – We know that the services we offer are absolutely vital, and have done our best to develop a strategy that will help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 while maintaining our ability to offer services as best as possible. The well-being of our community is our top priority.

Until further notice, OUR CENTRE WILL BE CLOSED.  Programming will be move forward as follows:

 

HOUSING SUPPORT PROGRAM

Our Housing Support Programs will not be taking new intakes until further notice. Existing clients will continue to be served, and are asked to reach out via phone.

COFFEE ROOM

Although our coffee room will be closed, we will continue to make coffee each morning and hand it out from the front door of the centre from approximately 9:15 until we run out.

 

FREE MEAL PROGRAM

We will be serving meals from 1:00-3:00 (or until we run out) from the front door of our building.

 

CHILDREN’S NEEDS PROGRAM

We will be handing out diapers, wipes, formula, and milk from the front door between 9-12 on Mondays and Fridays only.

 

HYGIENE PROGRAM

We will be handing out toiletries from the front door between 9-12 on Wednesdays only.

 

PET FOOD

We will be handing out pet food from the front door between 9-12 on Wednesdays only.

 

FREE BOUTIQUE

Our Free Boutique will be closed until further notice. We are currently not accepting donations.

 

DONATIONS

We are not accepting donations of any items.

Food donations will be accepted, but will be limited to Mondays only. We will continue to accept recurring food donations that have been previously scheduled.

Please take care of yourselves, remember to wash your hands, and try to avoid large crowds. Even if you aren’t worried about yourself, remember that there are people in our community who can be severely impacted by this virus.
