Carmichael Outreach Depends on Fundraisers to Serve Our Community
Carmichael Outreach is very thankful for our amazing fundraising partners. In a year, our fundraising events and partnerships throughout the year account for 20% of our total revenue. These funds are critical in enabling us to provide our programs to the community.
If you have a great idea for a new fundraiser for Carmichael Outreach, contact our Development Coordinator at 306-519-7580 or aurora@carmichaeloutreach.ca. We love hearing fresh new and exciting fundraising ideas from our community!

Queen City Ribfest
Ribfest is a 3-day food and music festival that happens in City Square Plaza and Victoria Park.
We feature internationally award winning Ribbers, 20 local musicians and bands who take the stage over the weekend, and Rebellion serves their delicious beer in the beer garden! It’s a major fundraiser for Carmichael that draws in thousands of people from Regina and the surrounding area.
This event wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors. For more information you can go to www.qcribfest.ca
FIVE DAYS FOR THE HOMELESS
This annual fundraiser is held each year at the University of Regina in conjunction with the Business Student’s Society at the Paul J. Hill School of Business. 5 participants sleep outside for 5 nights, giving up many luxuries such as cell phones, clean clothing, showers, and regular access to meals, in an effort to open the conversation about the causes of homelessness while raising funds for the day-to-day operations at Carmichael Outreach.
CHRISTMAS FOR CARMICHAEL
This annual holiday fundraiser started at the Pile O’ Bones tap room in 2019. The event featured a delicious dinner by Malinche, a brewery tour, and live musical performances by Erik Mehlsen, Nick Faye, and Nate Hilts.
In 2021 we came back with an amazing evening at Pile O’ Bones with a 3 course meal from Kith and Kin and performances from Artie Balkwill, Annora, and Megan Nash!
This year it’s at The Cure and will be featuring performances from Lexy Desjarlais, Chris “Tiny” Matchett, and Artie Balkwill, plus a delicious 3-course meal. All happening on December 8th, 2022.
The event has been a huge success, with each year raising over $10,000 to support Carmichael Outreach and the fight to end poverty and homelessness in our community!
PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD
Play board games to fight food insecurity – Play with Your Food is a community-based fundraiser where teams compete to raise money throughout the year to qualify for the 24-hour in-person celebratory gaming event.
All funds raised go directly to Carmichael Outreach to help them battle food security, poverty and homelessness in Regina, Saskatchewan.
