Housing Support
Our dedicated housing team is involved in a wide array of activities aimed at addressing homelessness and providing essential support to our clients. These activities include:
- Weekly Housing List: Our team develops and regularly publishes a comprehensive housing list, ensuring that our clients have access to the latest housing options.
- Housing Assistance: We assist clients in their quest to secure suitable housing, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
- Move-In Support: When clients successfully find housing, we provide practical assistance to help them transition into their new homes smoothly.
- Home Essential Items: We aid clients in locating and obtaining necessary items for their homes, including bedding, dishes, and other essential household items.
- Advocacy for Clients: Our team advocates on behalf of our clients, helping them navigate complex housing and social service systems, and ensuring their voices are heard.
- Emergency Hampers: We provide emergency hampers to clients facing immediate food insecurity, offering vital support during challenging times.
- Wellness Checks: We conduct wellness checks to ensure our clients’ health and safety, offering peace of mind and assistance when needed.
- Follow-Up Support: We offer ongoing support to clients to help them maintain housing stability and address any issues that may arise.

Lunch Service
In the 2023-2024 period, our lunch service reached a significant milestone in our mission to alleviate food insecurity in our community. Our primary goal has been to provide guests with access to wholesome and nutritious meals, and this initiative has been essential in addressing this critical issue. Lunch service start at 12:00 p.m. until no more meals are left, Monday-Friday.
Boutique
At our boutique, we proudly welcome around 60 guests each Mon, Wed, and Fri, from 9:00 am – 12:00 p.m. Sorting through approximately 13,000 items every month. Our diverse inventory ranges from warm winter coats to breezy summer shorts, ensuring that our guests have access to clothing suitable for every season. More importantly, our boutique plays a critical role in providing essential hygiene products to individuals and families.
Warming Center
In 2023-2024, we proudly opened our warming center for the first time, responding to the urgent need for a safe and welcoming space during cold nights. The overnight center operates 12 hours a day, from 7:15 p.m. to 6:45 a.m., ensuring that individuals have a warm place to stay when they have nowhere else to go. Our dedicated team provides not only a warming space but also essential resources and support, fostering a sense of community and safety for all who enter.
Carmichael Programs
At Carmichael, we offer a variety of programs to help people who may need assistance. In addition to our other four programs, we have the following:
Mattress: This program allows individuals to join a waiting list to receive a new mattress.
Milk: We provide milk to families so children can benefit from the important nutrients it offers.
Hamper: We offer food hampers to individuals and families facing food insecurity. We also ensure that our guests have access to other food programs.
Diaper: We provide diapers to parents with babies aged 0-2 years.

Carmichael Services
We also offer multiple services that people can access. These services include:
Shower & Laundry: Access to shower and laundry facilities.
Washroom: A washroom for public use.
Telephone: A telephone for public use.
Essentials: We provide hygiene products, underwear, socks, and other important day-to-day items.
Health Supplies: We distribute items such as Naloxone kits, HIV test kits, pregnancy tests, and condoms.

Community Partners
Offers a fridge of donated food for the community to access when they need, 24/7. Includes dry goods, grab and go foods, non-alcoholic beverages, pastry, breads, fresh fruit and veggies, dairy products and eggs with best before date. A Community Fridge is a type of “free store” that is from the community, for the community. It is 100% community owned, used and maintained. Visit the Instagram page for more information.
Four Directions Community Health Center provides services to residents living in Central Regina. The collaborative teams provide client-centered, trauma-informed care to all who access the many services we provide.
Helps prevent the spread of HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and other blood borne and sexually transmitted infections.
- Operates the needle exchange program.

Omega Specialty Nurses is a national Not-For-Profit organization that provides specialized patient care in many therapeutic areas.
At Carmichael Outreach they provide HIV & Hep C Testing every Wedneday
