Our Partners
Change cannot happen without partnership. Carmichael Outreach relies heavily on our amazing partners who enable us to offer the programs and services we do. We are very thankful and appreciative of every organization and individual who is committed to supporting Carmichael Outreach via donations of food, clothing, money, and time.
Kentucky Fried Chicken is known and loved around the world! Local KFC locations never hesitate to provide us with donations of some of their world famous chicken, salads, and other delicious goodies to support our Food Recovery Program.
In addition to their contributions to Carmichael Outreach’s Food Recovery Program, KFC has also been a generous and regular financial donor for us. We appreciate our partnership with them as much as we appreciate their delicious blend of 11 herbs and spices!
London Drugs has been a great partner to us in many ways. Carmichael Outreach can always count on them to donate a variety of things like snacks, baby food and formula, canned items, and more.
London Drugs prides itself on sponsoring various community-based events and corporate initiatives that are in-line with its values and goals of building healthier and stronger communities, and we appreciate their engagement with our organization.
Carmichael Outreach would like to raise a glass to Pile O’ Bones Brewing Company!
They were the driving force and gracious host of the “Christmas For Community” event in 2019. The evening was an amazing night of music, amazing food, a silent auction, and raffles that help support Carmichael’s programs.
In 2021 the sponsored and hosted Christmas For Carmichael and raised over $10,000! The evening featured a 3 course meal from Kith and Kin and performances from Artie Balkwill, Annora, and Megan Nash!
We value our partnership with such a locally focused organization like Pile O’ Bones Brewing Company.
Carmichael Outreach is pleased to welcome Olive Garden to our Community!
We’re excited to partner with Olive Garden for our Food Recovery Program, where they have generously provided us with delicious soups and other tasy food for us to serve to our community. Soups on!
Red Lobster is committed to donating unused, wholesome food to community organizations every week. The company began with a leader who was passionate about making delicious, high-quality seafood available and affordable to everyone.
Red Lobster Regina is a key partner in supporting our Food Recovery program. The donations we receive help to supplement our grocery budget, and allow us to better meet our community’s needs for nutritious meals.
The Reaching Homes Program, currently managed by Namerind, is a key resource to the success of our Housing Support Program. Federal government funds enable Carmichael Outreach to hire Housing Support staff, who assist members of our community in finding stable and affordable housing, while continuing to work alongside individuals who need more comprehensive support. Operating the Housing Support Program would be much more difficult without the strategic, financial support of Reaching Homes.
The Access Children’s Fund is the core funding partner for our Children’s Needs Program, a program that provides for the basic needs of families with newborn children. The programs core provisions include:
– Diapers & Wipes
– Weekly milk distribution
– Cribs/carseats/strollers for new families
This program distributes over 30,000 diapers each year into our community and over 60 litres of milk each week to families in our community. We are so grateful for Access Communications’ partnership with our organization through the Access Children’s Fund and the Carmichael Outreach Children’s Needs Program.
Our relationship with the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation (SSCF) is one that we value greatly. The SSCF works to advance community well-being by bringing together and supporting dedicated people and charitable agencies that envision a better Saskatchewan through philanthropy.
The SSCF has acted as a bridge between Carmichael and some of our key donors, connecting us with philanthropists that believe in Carmichael’s mission. Carmichael also holds a seat on the SSCF’s Vital Signs Community Advisory Board, where a variety of organizations get together to measure the vitality of our community and promote awareness of key issues.
Federated Co-operatives Limited cares about families, friends and neighbours, as well as the communities where we live, work and play. The Community Investment Fund is one way that they show this.
The Co-op Community Investment fund is administered by an employee-led committee, and supports community programs and organizations that matter to their employees. In 2017, Carmichael was selected as one of the organizations that the committee wanted to fund. This funding helps to support our ongoing operations, and helped to support this year’s Christmas meal and Kids Christmas Party!
SGI believes in giving back to the province with community programs supporting a range of initiatives. One of those initiatives is the promotion of cultural diversity, which SGI has demonstrated incredibly by sponsoring our Food Security Program for an entire month!
As an organization that works with a broad range of unique individuals including Indigenous peoples, New Canadians, women and families, those with physical and cognitive disabilities, those who struggle with addiction and mental health issues, and more, Carmichael Outreach values SGI’s commitment to diversity and building community. SGI’s incredible donation of $15,000 helps us provide much-needed meals to hundreds of diverse and resilient community members who rely on programs like ours.
