Carmichael Outreach Depends on Fundraisers to Serve Our Community
Carmichael Outreach is very thankful for our amazing fundraising partners. In the 2019 fiscal year, our fundraising events and partnerships throughout the year accounted for 20% of our total revenues. These funds are critical in enabling us to provide our programs to the community.
If you have a great idea for a new fundraiser for Carmichael Outreach, contact our Development Coordinator at 306-519-7580 or aurora@carmichaeloutreach.ca. We love hearing fresh new and exciting fundraising ideas from our community!

FIVE DAYS FOR THE HOMELESS
This annual fundraiser is held each year at the University of Regina in conjunction with the Business Student’s Society at the Paul J. Hill School of Business. 5 participants sleep outside for 5 nights, giving up many luxuries such as cell phones, clean clothing, showers, and regular access to meals, in an effort to open the conversation about the causes of homelessness while raising funds for the day-to-day operations at Carmichael Outreach.
MERRILL BRINTON TOURNAMENT OF HOPE
The Merrill Brinton Tournament of Hope is dear to our hearts, and is a very important fundraiser for Carmichael Outreach. The annual golf tournament has become a fun summertime tradition for corporate supporters of Carmichael, and we are very thankful to MNP, Miller Thomson, and all of our sponsors and golfers who have continued to show support for this tournament.
CHRISTMAS FOR CARMICHAEL
This annual holiday fundraiser started at the Pile O’ Bones tap room in 2019. The event featured a delicious dinner by Malinche, a brewery tour, and live musical performances by Erik Mehlsen, Nick Faye, and Nate Hilts.
Due to covid-19 we paused the event in 2020.
In 2021 we came back with an amazing evening at Pile O’ Bones with a 3 course meal from Kith and Kin and performances from Artie Balkwill, Annora, and Megan Nash!
The event has been a huge success, with each year raising over $10,000 to support Carmichael Outreach and the fight to end poverty and homelessness in our community!
IMAGINE INITIATIVE
As the needs of our community grow and change, Carmichael Outreach also needs to grow and change too! That’s why we are expanding our capacity to serve the community.
We moved into our new building at 1510 12th Avenue in Regina in December 2019. The Imagine Initiative was the driving force for us raise the money needed to get into our forever home, and it will continue to drive our efforts to finish the building and pay for future costs.
